Chair of mathematical modeling of systems of management

Chair MMSM was formed in June 2000 at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics. The new chair was headed by Professor Vladimir Chernetskiy, the Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Russia. The chair train students specializing in the field "Mathematical modeling and software management systems" and this is the main for two specialties - "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" and "Information Systems and Technology".

The MMSM chair together with the other ones of Faculty of Mathematics train graduates according the scheme Bachelor (4 years) - Specialist (5 years) - Master (6 years). Master's degree program includes: 510202 - Mathematical modeling; 510208 - Mathematical cybernetics.

The department runs postgraduate studies: 01.01.09 - discrete mathematics and mathematical cybernetics; 05.13.18 - mathematical modeling, numerical methods, and software; 05.13.11 - mathematical and software of computers, systems and computer networks.

Lectures of the chair are involved in research concerning the mathematical modeling of natural science and technological processes and management systems.
